Dr. Spears is a Board Certified physician in Internal Medicine with more than 20 years of experience in the practice of community-based primary care medicine. He has been an active member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and the National Medical Association.

As a native of North Carolina, Dr. Spears completed his undergraduate degree with honors at North Carolina State University. He went on to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and obtain his medical degree. After medical school, he went on to secure and complete his Internal Medicine Residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.

As a physician, he has served the community in many roles, including Hospital Chairman of Department of Medicine, Chief of Staff of the Community Hospital, Nursing Home Medical Director, and Sports Team Physician. He came to Brevard County in 2010 and has put down roots in the Space coast community. He is well established in the community.

Both of his children are graduates of Viera High School, and if you live in the Viera area, his wife Sherrie may very well have sold you your first home in the area. When he is not caring for patients, you will find Dr. Spears taking advantage of the natural beauty and opportunities for outdoor recreation of the Space coast. He enjoys saltWater FlyFishing, Paddleboarding, and Biking. When you arrive at the office, most of the artwork on the walls are his work.
